Mission-Critical Expertise
Our modular, adaptable tools – built on an open-source foundation and customized to support trusted AI solutions – provide customers with unparalleled access to scalable, secure, and compliant solutions. Whether operating in highly regulated industries - such as finance, healthcare, or government - or in dynamic sectors like technology, energy, or manufacturing, our technology is designed to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Astris AI was born out of a pressing need within Lockheed Martin. The company required a scalable AI solution that was agnostic to data storage and compute infrastructure, allowing for seamless transitions between centralized enterprise deployments, field-level mission environments, and disconnected settings. Lockheed Martin needed to rapidly scale AI capabilities across a diverse range of applications and data types, all while minimizing costs and supporting hundreds of programs. To achieve this, the company built AI Factory to codify AI best practices into a set of reusable components, pipelines, and playbooks, ultimately enhancing developer productivity and enabling the rapid delivery of mission-critical AI solutions at the speed of relevance.
Astris AI was accelerated in the Lockheed Martin AI Center (LAIC), which supports over 10,000 engineers and developers and 40,000 generative AI users, processing over 3B tokens per week. This expertise has been distilled into our modular, adaptable tools, built on an open-source foundation and customized to support trusted AI solutions.
